Hong Kong Investment Daily aims at being an investment information hub that delivers instant stock market news and quality commentaries to investors.
Discovery
Started with a quick competitive analysis, my goal was to study the best practices adopted by the popular digital media app in Hong Kong and overseas. This analysis generated insights on elements such as featured articles, bookmark, read-time estimation and etc.
Approach
My wireframe design focused on reader-friendly features such as search with topic hashtags, follow columnist and manage reading history.
The UI of this app adopted dark theme to reduce eye-strain, while following Google's Material Design guidelines for accessibility standards.
Deliverable
The final product offers smooth and engaging reading experiences. Users can easily browse articles, save them with bookmark and publish feedbacks.
